Default Tunnel Insulation?

I am adding headers and want to put insulation up in the tunnel.
Looking to find out how many square feet I will need and doI just spray adhesive and stick it on. I have seen silver tape used?
Thanks in advance for any info..

I used the DEI Floor and Tunnel shield 4' x 21". It was not quite enough to do the entire tunnel, but I had the plate off and was not waiting on another order. I would estimate you would need about half as much more to do the entire tunnel, perhaps a little more, plus waste, so I would error on the side of two of these rolls.

As I mentioned, I did this at the same time I did a tunnel plate, so I don't know which contributed to the overall heat reduction more, but it is now more comfortable. My wife and I went for a three-hour drive Sunday in 80 degree weather. Tunnel was warm at the end of the ride, not burning the side of my leg.

Good luck!!
