I don't know where you stayed but after loading there was still about 20-25 Vette's still in the Radisson parking lot. Probably cars that the owners paid and didn't load. I loaded near the end but from what I seen this year the cars were parked much closer together near the front of the ship which left the open space near the elevator more open.
Anyway, my question was that the event was limited to 400 cars and I think they would have had no problem opening it up to 500 since their was more than enough available space on the deck.

I totally agree with you. With this being the last event of this kind they would've sold 500 spots without a problem..

I can think of several reasons it may have been limited to 400. During it's history the event increased about 50 cars each time it was put on. The Lexington may have limited the number of cars, possibly due to fire codes, insurance or whatever. Initial up front expenses may have limited the number of cars. You have to figure they need to project the outlay for t-shirts, goodie bags, and such. I think the reason for 400 was probably they merely wanted to set a realistic goal for themselves.
