rubbed a curb today :/
after getting out of the car i realized the lower front bumper paint got rubbed off. Does anyone know how much the repair would be to get it repainted professionally?

It's easy to do. I'd ignore it. it's right on the ground and hardly noticeable. Probably every C6 on the road has some rash there. Magic marker works with dark colors but no help with silver. A shop might do it for a few hundred since it needs a blended paint and no body work.
I always wonder why folks get back up cameras for a C6 when a front bumper camera is more important?

You could easily have this fixed for a lot less than you think. Being so close to the ground and on a very small piece of the car they will blend to the edges of the that lower section without removing the bumper. I would expect to see this repair cost around $200. Good luck to you.

But I can admit to one time curb rash. Worst sound imaginable.

The way the paint came off it looks as if it has been painted before. ?? Paint will scuff/scratch. That looks like it is flaking. To do it right the cover has to come off so around $350-400 is the number.

I'd get some body shop recommendations from in your area and get a price. No way that we can tell you.

I had a similar experience that thankfully only scratched the surface and buffed out. Bought and installed a Curb Alert immediately thereafter.
No more worries.

I just had my magnetic red nose repainted, I had some other thing too, but with proper prep, removal of the nose etc I would assume $850-$1000 for just the nose.
Mine looks amazing, google the best body shops, I did and I couldn't be happier it looks amazing!

A good paint shops should be able repair, paint and blend the lower portion of the bumper cover. take a couple of pics and stop by a shop that has a good reputation and get a ball park cost. You will need to take the car in for an exact estimate. The best thing to do is to have the entire cover painted to remove all the existing road rash. This route will be much more expensive but it is the best fix.

You must be really low in front or the curb was high. Doesn't look like a rub you can get underneath the car as most do. Looks like you ran into the curb from that picture. Good luck with the fix.
