Default Need 6L80 Measurement - Please

My hope is that someone has a 6L80 with the C6 Differential laying around. I need the measurement from the mounting surface of the bell-housing (where it mates to the engine) back to the center of one of the C6 axles.

Thank you ahead of time for your help.

Sincerely,
Tony

The 6L80 is mounted directly to the differential in the rear of the car..

My bad.. Silly me.. I jump back and forth between a Truck forum and here.
I am using a truck power-plant and bell housing with a Corvette Trans / Diff..

My lil brain got all mixed up. LOL

Thanks for pointing that out.

So what I need is the measurement from the area where the Corvette housing mounts on the Trans mounting back to the center of axle.

Then I will have to get the measurement of the bell-housing I will be using to add the length for the over-all length. Then take the engine measurement and make sure it will all fit within the engine compartment - before I pull the trigger and buy stuff..

Wish I could help you further, my car is in the paint shop getting the hood resprayed from some damage some thieves did to it.

Default Need 6L80 Measurement - Please

IF anyone can help:
I still need the measurement - Please - from the center line of the CV joint at the Diff (Point B) to the surface of the trans (Point A) where the Corvette style bell-housing/pump mates to the trans it self.

I will be removing the Corvette housing to installing a RWD bell-housing/pump in its place. I need to be sure this setup with the engine I plan to use will fit in my project.

Thank you,

Thank you,
It's a crude drawing but the measurements are accurate. For the transmission I measured the leading edge to the trailing edge.

Thank you.

The housing is removable and I will be replacing it with a RWD deeper bell-housing.
If I am correct - that means the Transmission case starts at the yellow line I placed on your picture below.

Can I ask for one more measurement?
I need to know the measurement from the left edge to the yellow line - where the bell-housing removes from the main case. Then I can add the depth of the other bell-housing that I will be using to come up with the entire measurement.

Thank you again,
Tony

That last measurement is 2-1/8"

Thank you!

So we have 19.75 + 4.75 - 2.125 = 22.375 Plus the measurement of deeper RWD bell-housing shown below and the length of the V8 or V6 engine that I end up going with.
