New Tires
I just wanted to pass along my experience getting new tires for the GS for anyone in the north Atlanta area. I ordered a set of Bridgestone 050 RF Wednesday afternoon from the Buford Costco. About 5:00 pm they called me and said that the tires were in and I could bring the car in at 8:00 am (two hours before they opened) and they would install the tires. I was amazed that they would offer special service to make sure that the work was done in a very professional manor. They made sure that the wheels were not harmed in any way. They have a customer for life! So if you need tires for your Corvette go to the Buford Costco and ask for Ed, super nice guy that cares and delivers exceptional service.

We don't have Costco here. There are rumors that say we're getting them but so far nothing!

Same experience here...I've had A/S+ for winter and Pilot SS for summer purchased and mounted at Costco and it was all good. Both sets went on chrome QX3s with no damage or problems. I talked in person with the tire manager and he assured me that he would put his best guy on it. Next time I was there, he went out into the parking lot and checked lug tightness with his torque wrench. Sent a girlfriend there to get new tires and told her to mention me...he immediately asked how the tires on the Vette were doing...quality guy, quality job.
They include the road hazard warranty in the mounting/balancing price...$ 14 per tire I think.
