I hate the e brake button part II
I still hate this thing. I guess I am going to paint it satin black in an attempt to match some other stuff in the interior. WTF was gm thinking with this thing?

I actually parked it for the winter because I was struggling to cope with the interior. I have since did a seat conversion and bought some new leather and pedals. I had already a addressed the steering wheel.

I have no idea what mine looks like, and I really don't care. Nobody that has ridden in my car has EVER said anything like "Let me out immediately! I refuse to ride in a car with a button like that!"
In fact, I've never heard anybody say anything about it -- negative or positive.
One of these days I'll take a peek just so I know what it looks like.

If it bothers you that much you could either go Hydrocarbon or gloss black. Usually the button is matched to the center console color/finish.

At least it's not the stupid electrical controlled button in the C7's. Sounds like you can solve this with a little paint. Can't be too big of a deal. I bet you are the only one it bothers.

I must say this ranks right up there on the persnickety scale of things.
Given the OCD (Obsessive Corvette Disorder) personalities of some Corvette owners, I'm surprised this subject doesn't come up twice a week.
Although, now that it's been brought to my attention, I might just have to paint mine LMB while I'm repainting my center console and dash surround. Darn you, slammin86! I just need to find a new frame w/clips for the parking brake boot.
