C6 Value

really, i think your better off moving to the z06.
your gonna be disappointed on the few thousand spent for less than 10% hp increase. You can add a cam way cheaper for the same result.

Miles are everything. Go for it. It's not that much extra money for years of trouble free driving. Plus the car with low miles will have better resale value.

IMO, if it was a convertible I could see about $28. Otherwise $26.
I have an '07 Z51 3LT convertible but with 60k miles. I think the mileage I have is a $2k penalty for me whereas the 10k miles on the car you are looking at is a $2k add. In other words, IMO, I believe the difference between 10k miles and 60k miles on a 9 year old car is no more than $4k dollars. A little less than $1k per 10k miles.
I also think the convertible vs coupe is about $2 to $2.5k difference. My car is worth no more than $24k so I think the car you are looking at is worth $26. Maybe $26.5k - $27k because it is an '08 vs. my '07.
All the above is my opinion.

That's a good deal to me. I bought my 2008 A6 3LT Z51 NPP with 5K miles for $33K in June 2015. My bank said that my vette was $2K below value. Go for it.

Hey guys, I know things are only worth so much on paper and then it comes down to how bad you want something. But my neighbor has decided to sale his vette and it has been the most pampered cared for car on the planet. Need to see if y'all think it's worth the price. 30k for an 08 Z51 Red coupe car, 3LT package with 10k miles. Only upgrades are tinted windows and has 2 tops. New tires. Whatcha think?

I think an '08 3LT Z61 is worth a solid $5-7K more than an '05-'07 lower model, personally.
To top it off it has 1/4 the mileage and he knows the car's complete history.

He decided he wanted to sale it faster than i feel like i can close a deal on mine and get the rest of the funds up to make the difference. So I'd be terrified of selling mine and it be gone and loose my car.

^ I have a feeling at $30k he'll be keeping it for a while. There is always a way if you're willing.

Just check the value online for your area and stick to that price. www.kbb.com

As others have said, the price is a bit high. If it has everything you have been looking for, and is in great shape, it could be worth it. But, I will guarantee you this...the number of people looking for ANY '08 Vette for $30K is very slim. He will have a hard time selling at that price unless someone else comes along who is looking for exactly such a car.
If it is worth it to you, pay the price. Me...I would justify to him, with research, why $27K or $28K is my top dollar.

You mentioned that your Dad is looking to buy one. Sell him yours and you buy the neighbors!

I paid 29 for a 09 Z51, 3LT, chrome wheels, automatic. Had 7900 miles on it and the only thing that did not make it look new was the tires were used. It was female owned and had been pampered. I thought it was a fair deal, I was not going to pay 30.

The biggest thing he has going for him on that car is that is has an LS3 which gives his car's value a couple grand more than some are suggesting. I think he might be a hair high but not as far off as some let on. He might sit on it until he finds that right person willing to shell out upper 20s for it.
