Default Any headers that are the same length as OEM?

Looking for some headers that'll replace the OEM manifolds and cats and connect just like the OEM cats do. Anyone make some?

You're looking for shorty headers. Hooker makes some according to their site.

Why not the Z06 exhaust manifolds, down cat pipes and mid pipes? Same gain as shorties and much less cost.

Billy Boat headers are what you are looking for.

Ohshift ....

Your from Texas and not California. You don't have the communist emission laws that Cailfornia has.

Don't worry about getting shorty headers that will put your O2 sensors closer to the engine. Anyway, you will loose HP and torque by screwing around with shorties.

Get your self a good quality set of long-tube headers (like most everyone else does) along with the matching x-pipe.

Your just cheating yourself out of HP with those shorties ..... bad idea!

Ohshift ... Just out of curiousity, why are you so intent on getting 'shorty' headers anyway?

Mainly just curious and weighing my options. They're about the same price as regular long tubes anyway it looks like.

Shorty are waste. Either get long tubes or Z06 manifolds.

Shorty can add tone.....and may not be considered a waste.

Yet I'd agree as for making power....yes, pretty much a waste.

OP has the option of long tubes in his great state of Texas and from above Billy Boat may be the product answer he is seeking.

Have fun.

shorty's are engineered more for street use and lower rpm's. long tubes are more for track and higher rpms., depends on how you want to use your car. a set of ceramic coated tuned shorty's can be had for under 700.00. your not going to feel the difference in hp between longs and shorts, it takes a dyno or a track timer to tell the differencs,

No sir, you are wrong. The LS2/3 cars respond very well to long tube headers, typically about 35 hp with any of the name brands, ARH, Kooks, LG, etc. To get the most out of them you need to have the car tuned after the install & there will be a noticeable difference, I would NOT waste my money on shorties, you will get no performance gain out of them

Riddle me this then. How can hooker make claims of 15rwhp and 14 torque backed up from the dyno from their shorty headers? As much as long tubes, no but for half the price, half the power........

I'll take you for your word on the Hooker shorties, but I think for the work involved, just get the long tubes & enjoy the extra power

I was able to do a before header install, and an after header install dyno pulls using the same DynoJet on the same day.

Bone stock 2011 GS (A6) ... Added Pfadt long tube headers and a Pfadt x-pipe with cats + Dyno Tune

Not disputing the power gain. But, that is also a $2000 setup before install and tune. If you can get 15rwhp for $650 that proves my point.

I know gains were throughout the rpm range, but I bet most significant gains were in the mid range with LT's?
