Use trunk key in key hole above rear license plate, open trunk, pull emergency door release on left side in trunk. Open door, pop hood, hook up battery charger to battery.
I connected a battery tender pig tail with an SAE connector on the end to the battery and leave it where I can access it with the car locked so I can charge the battery up without getting in it. This also prevents me from getting locked out due to a dead battery.
