Default My wide body conversion 08 4lt vert

I am about to begin a wide body conversion. I know that it is not for everyone but I really like them,The extreme ones that is. I finally received most of my parts, installed the rear spoiler and hung one quarter panel. Still need to replace all of the hardware and fasteners ,but it looks good

I like widebody cars and all, but it looks like you're gonna have your work cut out for you. Nothing about that fender you hung is lining up properly at this time. You may have prematurely blown your wad in showing us this image. The bottom gap is incorrect, the bottom corner by the door sticks out too far, the recess for the door handle is too low, the wheel arch doesn't mesh with the rear bumper at all. I'm not putting you or your project down, I'm just saying I know you're excited but you may want to post photos when it's complete.

It's going to look great! Are you doing the full wide body or just the booty?

Please post pics of the finished product. In addition it would be interesting on what the total cost was for those wanting to undertake the project.

I know It does not look properly installed, it is just put into place temporarily . Wanted to see how it would look before I went to bed. Not worried about being premature just wanted to show a little tail,This thread will be updated as I go along.

It's gonna look great. I'm always amazed at how some people are so quick to pick everything apart. I hope you know It's not the right color. Hahahahaa. Good luck with your build.

Default more mocking up

Did some more mocking up placing panels into place, have to say I am a little disappointed on how things are lining up. it looks like I will have a lot of work and money to spend to get it right.

highly recommend the apsis front fender mud guards... fits like the oem rears and it'll keep your rear fenders chip-free.

Looking goodI really wish when i had done my GS conversion i would have done the one you have. Don't get me wrong i love the gm kit and the fit and finish was perfect but the super wide Grand sport front fenders are rare, this is the first i have seen. Really loooking forward to the finished product.
