Try CarGurus. I have seen some 10k miles on 07 but they will probably want more $$. Those are garage queens

Nathan, pass on that car, it does not even come close to matching the ad. I, for one, would have not even considered that vehicle when I was doing my search. If you can spend $26K, you can get a nice 2010 with fewer miles.

Also, put your location on your personal info. I know you are somewhere near Minneapolis from the CL ad. You make a reference to few cars available within 150 miles...I think if you improve your search methods, you will find plenty of cars available, much better than this one.

check cargurus.com and cars.com...you will see that the above car, even if it matched the ad, is $5000 above the crowd.

Expand your search area to 500 miles. Lots of folks on this forum in other cities can take a look at a possible car for you. Give yourself more options to find the car that is not only a good deal, but what you want.

Did it come with magnetic ride though? My 08 z51 base didn't.

GS comes with Z51 therefore it isn't an option. Since the op was looking at a base not a GS I was talking about the Z51 package option on a base Corvette. The mag ride is also an option on a C6 base and one or the other is available, not both.

Update: I have been obsessively searching over the last week on the internet taking into account what everyone has told me.

I did have a member reach out to me with a really nice black, '08,M6,3LT,NPP, 30k miles for sale. I decided to continue my search as it looks like I can get more for the $30K he was asking.

I found a similar C6 to the member's Vette in Houston TX. This one has more options including the Z51 package which I would prefer.

Has anyone ever dealt with Corvette World? Thoughts? I called there and spoke with one of the sales guys. Not the friendliest person I have spoken with.

I have also concluded I really like the inferno orange metallic color option. They are super hard to find though. I only found two that meet my criteria. This one in particular seems clean but it is expensive and has no options.

Seems the better deal for the money is the black one at Corvette World, if you like cleaning a black car for a living..
I could not do black for that reason, personal thing.
The 2012 is priced maybe right being a later model year, only plus I see is the upgraded seats, but I'm not sure how much better they really are.

Nathan, currently, on cargurus.com, THERE ARE 6 2012 COUPES, MANUAL TRANS, WITH UNDER 35,000 MILES, UNDER $30,000. All are nice cars. If you want an '08, go for it, but if you want newer for the same price, check out cargurus.

Here is a black, 2011, 1LT, 6sp with 35k miles on it in Michigan from a used car dealer listed for $26k on craigslist. On their website they have it listed for $29k.

Here is another nice one a little farther away. I would think $24k could buy this one.

Z51 and Magnetic ride was only available on wide bodies. Narrow bodies were one or the other.

Inferno Orange was a later year color, 2011 I think, if you're trying to stick to a 30k budget and get low miles, they're probably out.

Everyone will tell you that every car is overpriced and you can get more for the money. I'm not gonna feed into that ****. If you find a car you like, worrying about a grand or two is stupid. Buy the car you like and enjoy it, that enjoyment is worth more than the slight price difference.

No matter what anyone says, the truth is some of these cars are overpriced. That's why I see many of the same cars for sale now that were for sale 6 months ago when I was I shopping for my car. I'm always in the market for cars I like but only at the right price. I have had offers turned down many times only for the person to eventually sell it for less than I was offering. But nobody can tell you how to spend your money, we can only give advice when asked, but if you want someone to tell you go do whatever you want "it's only money", well you don't need our permission for that, but also I won't be the one irresponsible enough to tell you that either.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I am not going to disrespect it the way you have done others. I will say that most of us are talking both $$ AND years. In the cases I brought up, it might only take an extra $1000 to get a similar car that is 4 years newer. If you consider that to be "****", than you and I aren't living in the same universe.

Yes, by all means, you should get exactly what you want. Truth is, most people asking our opinion do not know what they want.

Maybe you can get 4 years newer for that 1000 bucks. Some cars out there are indeed over priced. But the VAST majority are priced normally, and waiting for that one car that is super specially low priced means missing out on the experience for months or years. Sometimes that's worth more than a few less miles or a few years newer.

Default Update

With mixed emotions, my WRX is gone. Step 1 compete.
Step 2 is also complete. Picked up a 2009 Impala LTZ with 80k for my daily driver.

Now, I continue the hunt. This one below in GA, looks pretty nice. I love the color and wheels. Seems loaded with add ons too, but I don't think they know it's a Z51 or NPP. They don't mention it anywhere. Looks like there could be an aftermarket intake and for sure shift ****. Anything else I am missing? In would try to get it for about 26k.

I also like this one, says motivated to sell which could mean a deal.
