Default Made a tough choice today

It was tough to do but I decided today I want an 08-13 yellow C6 more than my 67 chevelle. I didn't have the space for both so I listed my 67 chevelle on ebay this morning. With any luck I will find the vette before my April 16th 36th birthday and will be cruising for in it for my week of vacation. I hope to find a yellow one with less than 20k and 3lt f55.

Hopefully you will find the one that is right for you. The search is half the fun of it all.
I searched for almost 6 months before I found the right one for me.

Good luck

Good luck with the C6 shopping. Patience is sometimes the best tool when shopping for the perfect used car. Also good luck with your Chevelle sale. I know selling a classic car can sometimes be a long and painful process. Once you do get the C6, it will make you forget all about your Chevelle and will definitely be much more fun to drive.

good luck in your search -- these C6's are wonderful cars.

my suggestion... keep your Chevelle VIN number somewhere so when you have more money in your 50s you can search out where it is and buy it back.

I have always wanted a vette. Just dont have the space for everything. I know the c6 will be more fun to drive and better for longer drives out of town.

I sold my 69 440 Roadrunner about 5 years ago to do the same thing you're wanting to do. I stay in touch with the new owner going to a few local shows with him but have never regretted selling it, I owned it 15 years and built it from a basket case. My 12 GS is a ton more fun to drive and I'm not afraid to park it and leave it for a few hours, couldn't do that with the RR. Good luck!!

67'. Very nice. I sold a 1981 Corvette and what really helped me was pictures from a local car show. Putting it in the setting buyers can envision... guy came with his son within 3 days.
I'm on my 4th Vette now, I like yellow too but it would have to be very fast (to keep up with black and red) lol.
Good luck with the sale!

There is a 12 GS vert in St. Louis with 11k miles, an 07 Z in Chicago with about 10k. They're out there.
Good Luck!

Haha ironically getting my C6 made me remember my '70 Nova SS, which was my first car and last Detroit muscle till now. Forgot how good it feels to have a pushrod V8 nail me to the seat.

nice looking car, i am curious however if you think you would get more offers / better money if you would have taken it out washed it, had a short youtube walk around of it running, etc.

ebay is a platform where people buy things based entirely off the description of the item as it exists on the website, i don't know if you are asking top dollar at your asking price as I don't know the current market of those vehicles but the presentation makes it appear to be a dusty project and not a daily driver like you describe.

but i think you would have a much better corvette experience if you have a little bit more money to put into the purchase, and your Chevelle appears to be a car that is worth way more than it appears on the site.

I just looked at the photos. It would look better to take it through a car wash and wash that dust off, and shine it up a bit.

The C6 Vette is a much more practical choice. Good luck with the sale of your Chevelle and the search for your Vette.

I did the same only sold my 70 El Camino SS 454, just not so reliable or comfortable.
Found my Grand Sport in a couple of weeks only 100 miles away, went there dropped the dough and drove it home, 2011 GS A-6 3LT 25,000 mi just over 2 years ago, turned out to be fantastic car.
Know what you want beforehand Really take a look at your options, especially wide body VS base

I did the same, several times. Got rid of my 66 Impala SS (66k orig miles) and 73 Vette (20k orig miles) for the more practical 07 Coupe. Don't regret it, but do miss those cars. Those were not the kind of cars you could drive just anywhere.
