Default 2005 as my first vette

http://http://www.patriothyundai.com/used/Chevrolet/2005-Chevrolet-Corvette-35b05b200a0e0ae8779b2f8b3e6377d2.htm
They have offered this car to me at 20000 and I am thinking of biting. The car drives well I will have to get used to the clutch it is very touchy compared to most of the stick shift I have drove( mostly trucks).
What are your thoughts on this deal
Thanks Rob

18-19K would be more of a fair deal. The door panels look milky white, whats up with that?

Looks like a pretty nice car and not a bad price. I'd say go for it.

The color is not dark black on the door panels they are kind of an off gray. The seats are black.

If you don't keep up with the panels that's what happens. The dealer could bring them back to life.

Not a bad price. It's in the ball park of what you should pay. Here is a few others near you for comparison.

Hold firm at 19, you'll own it.

I think the price is fair. That's a lot of car for 20k. If you like the car and the color, I'd say go for it. Obviously try for the best price, but I wouldn't let 1k break the deal, and 20k Is very fair for that car. You'll see C5s for more than that out there.

That's a fair deal for this C6, it looks to have an aftermarket exhaust and nice subwoofer that's a plus. Keep the 05's alive!

If you decide to buy it, here is your owners manual on the web:

Good luck!

ArmorAll should take that white residue right out and turn it black again. Many members on here won't touch ArmorAll, but that product works great for me.

Double-check the fit of the rear bumper cover to left rear quarter panel. It's normal for the bumper cover sides to be (very slightly) convex and for the metallic not to match perfectly in all lighting, but the fit should be tight.

I would not haggle on price for that car. Considering it has a "Warranty Forever" with unlimited mileage, no deductible and FREE! How can anyone beat that? I've never heard of such a thing! That's a HUGE selling point.

I looked for that. The only thing it says is cars over 100,000 miles not included.

Yes, EVRose, sounds like the same warranty several local GM dealers offer with their cars here. Lifetime warranty on new or used as long as under 100k miles. But,, dealers here selling prices are above normal retail to cover it too. This 05 is priced fair without a warranty let alone with one.

Wonder if it is a Drivetrain only or Bumper to Bumper type? Big difference.

As far as I can tell it is drivetrain only.

Just for comparison, here is a 2005 that is 120 miles away, is loaded with options (3LT equivalent), and is $1200 less. It helps to compare, jus' sayin'
