Default Torque Specs

Is there a torque spec on GS/ Z06 caliper pins? If so, does anyone know what it is?

If you haven't already and you are just doing brakes do not remove the pins. Horror stories here of guys following the spec and the pins backing out destroying a wheel. Remove the caliper and install the padlets that way.

This was my first thought also...many stripped heads and problems. Much easier to just remove the caliper...best to consider those pins to be permanent.

Agree with the above advise. I always just remove the Caliper and pop in the 6 padlets and reattach. Never had a problem with this method

Thanks cclive and SLOWRYDE! I was exploring all avenues. I'm going to change the color of my calipers from silver to red. I thought about powdercoating my calipers and the guy I talked to locally said they had to be completely disassembled to do that correctly. I'm leaning toward buying the G2 kit and doing them myself and saving a ton of money in the process. I was able to buy the GS/Z06 caliper decals cheap enough so that's probably be the way I go.
Thanks again for the replies, deeply appreciated!

The paint will work fine...I did mine myself and it still looks the same 8 years later.

Thanks cclive! I was wondering how long it would last and you answered that.

Thanks again!
