Ik Man, but people just randomly still type random ****. I wish you could close threads or block people. Is the befriend option the same thing?

Oh come on now, Randy. He's the best entertainment we've had in a long time. We're already up to 9 threads in 5 days and he hasn't even broken anything yet or gone to the track.

I decided to come back in to yet another thread of OP's just to see who is being taken by all this blather. I see the perception-ability of long-timers is still at its best. Kudos!

You are the one typing gibberish. Maybe read it back once before hitting send? Maybe try to write complete sentences? Maybe retake remedial English this summer? It took about a dozen posts just to correctly find out what trans you have, even more for you to learn where the clutch is. Anyone with a lick of sense would have gotten the basics straight the first try. Hope you have some dark shades with such a bright future.

No I said in the z06 section I wasn't anymore I ran into a guy with a c6 z. He said he dropped a valve at 14k miles stock. That's enough to scare me, I'm waiting on some money to get heads porting intake and TB and getting a tune and maybe running catless. Once garage is built I'm dropping the drivetrain to change the throw out bearings etc. actually Im going to make sure what it is first then do that. I just saw a thread have the same problem and it was that.

I advise against doing the math between what you could have spent on your old slow LS2 and what you have to spend on your new 427. It will only depress you. Of course it could also make for a valuable lesson as well.

My twin carbon makes a bit of racket in this scenario. Completely normal.

I think half of it is the clutch, but I'm sure the TT bearing is shot.

*Once garage is built I'm dropping the drivetrain to change the throw out bearings etc.*

Now you are building a garage before you take your car to the track?
