Any idea as to how to read the date coding to see how old the sensors are?
What did you have to pay fro them at your Chevy dealer?

Here's a good general thread on the TPMS system...word of caution is that the info from Bob, BEZ06 is the correct info....much of the rest of it is not correct. Read his posts there and his videos are very good also.

$70 is way high...you can get them from a reputable guy like Gene at Cultrag, a GM dealer for far less. At least check with him...he is a well liked forum vendor...always good reviews.
Well, color me wrong...Cultrag is $80, so I'm at a loss. But I still think $40 is about right.

8220 should work great. If you guys ever have questions like this, shoot me a PM or give me a call, I'll help you figure out what fits your application and why. I can run your VIN and verify exact match, along with having some of the most knowledgeable tech guys around.
8221 is indeed export, which operate on a different frequency.
I'll do anything I can to match or beat a competitors price on a genuine GM part if you give me the chance, but I'll help you out with information regardless.

The correct part number for your car is ACDELCO 25758220. Schrader makes this sensor and you can save yourself a lot of money by buying their OE direct replacement Schrader 20076. I just put new wheels on my '06 and I bought the Schrader sensors from rockauto for less than a 100 bucks for all 4. They work just like the oem.
