No love for the ls2?

I own both an 05 Z51 and a 13 427 convert. While the 427 has much more power, more comfortable seats and shifts better, my 05 is still a blast to drive and I plan on keeping it.

This might be late in the thread but the reason why i also asked you guys is because there was a youtube review i was watching and at the 45 second mark the guy says that the corvette is the ls2 that he drove which the corvette owners say to avoid, now i know thats an opinion but it raised my curiosity. I attached a link to the vid im talking about.

I love my LS2, but I'm a guy who wants the biggest engine etc. Unfortunately I don't have a lot to spend on that so I chose to keep my LS2. I look at the positives, my color was offered only 1 year, the condition is damn near flawless and with LT Headers $800, Fast 102 $900 and a tune $500 I can pump out roughly 50 RWHP at the wheels and that'll be about 450-460 at the flywheel meaning it can take out the LS3 and others cars too. If I could afford a Z06 or an Atomic Orange LS3 I would, but I cant. I'm not worried about it. I love the millennium yellow too, my 01 was that I tried to find an 05 in millennium, but I didn't find any available at the time.

Yea sky is limit I also will do just mild things I'm gonna shoot for 450-480 N/A I really want to enjoy this one I'm coming from a Z06 and a Dodge Viper. But yeah there is a few things I didn't like 1 is the seats I'm looking to change out. Gonna get a good tune from Chuck and look into the MSD intake / throttle body and some headers and tires.. like I say sky is limit with these cars Vette are like Lego blocks man and very reasonable to work with I'll put up more pictures of the head unit and bezels I changed out

Actually there were 25,114 more LS2s produced in 3 years compared to all the LS3s produced in 6 years, including Grand Sports. Deteriorating economic conditions affected Corvette sales beginning with the 2008 model year: 2007 LS2 Corvette production was 32,402 cars; 2008 LS3 production was 27,579; 2009 LS3 production fell drastically to 12,080 cars produced. GM tried to stop the decline in sales with the 2009 introduction of the Grand Sport, but low production numbers continued each year until the end of the C6 model run in 2013 with 10,765 LS3s produced. More LS2 Corvettes were produced during three years (2005-2007) with total production of 97,523 cars than LS3s produced over six years (2008-2013) with total production of 72,409 cars.

When I bought my 2006, I only had $20,000 to spend total.
I wasn't even concerned if it was an LS2, 3 or whatever.
I just wanted to be back in a Corvette after not having had one since I sold my 99 convert back in 2006.
I founds this 06, one owner, immaculate, red (fastest color) coupe and got it for $17,000. Didn't even haggle.
It's an LS2 but for me it's the best.
