Headed to the strip tomorrow...predictions?
Base c6 manual. Cam headers etc laid down 498 rwhp. Running on some 295s no drag radials.
Traction is going to be my biggest limiting factor. The driver the next one.
I have not ran a car down a drag strip in 17 years
Take your bets on ET/MPH?

Yeah, my time for you was a bit optimistic given you are on street tires and haven't done this in a while but I'm fairly certain you can squeak off at least 11.60. I imagine your torque is probably similar to the HP? I think you might surprise yourself if you get a good launch.

I once got my stock 1988 5.0 to rip off a 13.80 on some worn out BFGs
That my fastest car until the vette. Put NOS on it ut never ran it.I have ran this car in the 1/2 mile to 153mph but the launch is not so important there. Just no 1/4 in her yet. I can launch it pretty good on the street all things considered. We will see.

Okay, all you weak prognosticators....where's my kudos? I predicted 11.80!!! Yes, I missed it by .03 of a second. I also missed the MPH by 2!!
