Window issues not indexing
I've been a long time user first time poster so don't beat me up lol. I've seareched the forum before deciding to ask and read many threads on indexing, my drivers window won't go up that last 1/4in at all now, was every now and then. I've tried indexing 100000 times, I've even tried some other suggested indexing methods nothing works, wondering if anyone else has had the problem, also my fob randomly quits working, have even got a new fob and it still randomly doesn't work, change battery and doesn't work and all of a sudden it'll work again and a few weeks later quit working..... any ideas?? Btw cars a 05 base thanks in advance

And you done indexing this way ?
Once power is restored, do the following:
1. Close the door.
2. Raise the window by pulling up the switch.
3. Hold the up switch for three seconds after the
window is closed. Release the switch.
4. Hold the up switch again for three seconds and
release.
Remember to do both windows.

Done that 50000 times as stated, it's really starting to get activating it not going up lol it won't go all the way up at all, not when I roll it up, not when I close the door, not when anything it will not go past that mark no matter what lol

If you have done all that you have stated in all your posts, then your battery is dead, because no car can withstand the number of assaults you have perpetrated on it.
10,000 times indexing: even I would have a hard time beating that one. 50,000 times?

I want to help, but you aren't really giving us much to go on.

Try disconnecting the battery and then re indexing both windows again

I might try removing the positive lead off the battery for a few minutes and then try re-indexing the window, maybe the computers need a reset, as for the fob maybe the receiver is bad.

Never remove the positive first. That causes sparks. When disconnecting a battery, negative first. When connecting a battery, hook up the positive first. This will ensure no sparking.

Will try that when I get back to the house, I have a snap on scanner, I've went in and did a complete system relearn already the other day, even on the scanner I went into body controls and rolled the window up that way bypassing the switch And it still didn't go up past that point.

I mean it rolls down automatically like it should, rolls up fine like it should, just acts like the door isn't closed, but car locks when I walk off, have no door pad problems always opens with the slightest of touch, closes smooth and easily so I don't think it has anything to do with the door itself, the dealers around here are pretty lost when it come to anything above basic stuff and I dread driving back to corvette world lord knows they've got to much of my money already 😂😂😂

I'm just thinking out loud. When the indexing is working correctly you open the door and the window goes down about 1/2 inch then you close the door and it goes back up after the door is fully closed. That tells me there has to be some kind of switch or sensor that lets the system know the position of the door. Just maybe the the switch is getting stuck in the open door mode. One other thought it might be in the door module itself. From your description it does not sound like the typical re-indexing issue.

Or, switch is simply shot.
It's an '05, in service 12 yrs.
Wouldn't be unusual if it kacked.
Might be time to open that door up, see if wires are intact, switches functioning.
Helpful if OP has access to an indy Corvette specialist, a lot less $ making this right.

Managed to finally pull a code out of it, swapped handle with one I had from when I bought package deal on new exterior handles/pads, still nothing..... scanner still insists that exterior handle is active instead of idle as should be......
