GM employed the "Boiling Frog Technique"
I believe GM played us perfectly. Think about it.. let out slowly a few pictures of the C6 in camo..then let a few magazines publish the worst possible pictures.
So each time we are getting exposed to the new design a little bit more and more..allowing it grow on us. Then show the full product but in terrible pictures, so that when the debut the Total package in video and professionaly set picutres WE ALL FALL IN LOVE AGAIN.
Congrats GM..well Done (on the C6 and us the public).

I agree totally. GM's marketing staff knows what they're doing. They played me, and I loved every minute of it!

That's probably what they tried, EXCEPT I am not falling in love with that car......the C6 is only missing the body side cladding from the avalanche to conform to GM brand management policies..........a malibu steering wheel....gimme a break!!
