This list was posted in a German Car Site and people were praising the C6 excellent time...

Look closely at that list and you will be stunned how the C6 beats far more powerful cars....

Did you saw the time of the new Viper?

Is way behind the C6 and the Modena also......

The main reason for that is because the M3 CSL uses slick tires if it were using normal street tires the C6 better power to weight ratio would kick its butt....

Those time generally make sense. According to BMW the new M5 does it in 8.00 minutes, about 28 seconds faster than the old M5. Since it is heavier than the C6, its 100 extra hp would about offset the weight. Thus the close time comparison between the C6 and the M5.

No offense to Dave Hill but I wonder what that car might have done with Fellows or Johnny O behind the wheel?

Bodes well for the coming Z06

You could probably chop 2 seconds off that time then.
It's almost a Gallardo killer.

I'm just eager to see what the C6Z06 will be capable of!!!

Interesting side note:
"20,832 km 7,49 = 160 km/h Honda RC 30, Helmut Daehne. "
I have one. Not bad for a superbike from the early 90's.

I searched the link and found only 2 early C5s as the only Corvette numbers listed. I don't think that time is real.
