Default Window won't CLOSE!

Anybody having this problem? The indexing window on the drivers door won't go all the way up.

I got back from out of town tonight - super excited to try the mods I had done to it and bam, this happens

Did any of your mods involve disconnecting the battery?

If the battery goes dead or is disconnected, the indexing feature needs to be reset. Your manual explains how to do it.

mine did that the first day i had it,just the drivers side. push down on the window button and hold for 5 seconds and then pull up on the window button and hold for 5 seconds. it has not done it since BUT why did it do it as i just parked the car and went to bed and the next morning i found the window down.

Your window went down on it's own?! Oh man... that's not good.

I am keeping all of these ideas so if I have one of these problems I can fix it without going to the dealer

We sure need to try to encourage the administrators to leave the sticky FAQ where it is for awhile until more folks get their C6s and get used to their "idiosyncrasies".

That's a good idea. While I don't have my convertible yet, I read how to reset the indexing in the owners manual that was posted as a PDF on a different thread.

Default Amazing forum!

Wow- this forum continues to impress- I just had the mysterious (window won't close all the way" problem today, thought I'd have to hit the dealer, and lo & behold-- another problem solved by the Corvette Forum!
Thanks to all!

Just surprised you couldn't find that in a newer thread since it gets posted here about once a month.
