Sometimes if you're not paying attention to it after adding headers/working on the exhaust the drain will get pushed into a spot where it drips down on the headers.

On the C5 it's a little 1/4"id or so black hose that hangs down near the firewall on the pass side. I haven't played with it on my C6 or a ZR1.

Should that cause any problems or is it just a nuisance?

No problems at all. Remember, these cars a built to drive in the rain. A little condensation drip won't do anything. Just a nuisance, like you said.

After pulling the engine on my C6, I noticed that it doesn't have a hose like the C5, so I imagine you don't have much option but to let it drip on the headers unless you add a tube. It's not an issue either way.
