Default First ZR-1 DYNO w LG SUper Pro Headers, LG Tune, filter.

Hi guys,

Here is the first dyno numbers that we have with our new LG Super Pro 1 7/8" header and complete system on a ZR1. It also has High flow Air filter element, This run is with no cats but they are going on.

It also has our "Man ****" to control the exhaust flaps, and our carbon fiber "Super Scoop" to direct air into the engine.

The tune is conservative for pump gas, and daily driving.

We plan on having a pulley to up the boost shortly and we are working on a Carbon fiber Air filter housing and element.

We will be doing more investigating on the tune and the car in general in the days coming up. We will keep you posted.

Thanks

Lou Gigliotti

Thanks for the info Lou! Did you guys leave the boost to the lower setting after the headers or did you raise it back to factory levels?

left it stock.

we are working on the tune and getting all out of the PCM in the days to come but the car has to go to a show this weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway and the Lone-star Classic.

Thanks

Lou,

That is very impressive. My car basically has the same mods, 1 7/8 headers with high flow cats and the x-over, smaller pulley and tune. But with stock air filter. However, mine only pulled a maximum of 581 rwhp. And insight as to why the difference?

We saw a Max boost pressure of 8psi, for what its worth verified with the scanner, and a mechanical gauge.

Everything is stock, relating to boost. Pulley, bypass valve, and boost settings with in the PCM.

What was max boost before the header install?

Lou,
Nice numbers. Do you have more of the high flow filters in stock for the ZR1? I'd like to get one for mine.

Hi,

that was a custom one we made but we will have a great looking ZR1 Carbon air intake that I think you will like. But it will be at least 4-6 weeks out.

thanks We will keep you posted

Lou,
PM me when you get the entire package completed for the ZR1
I used your LG long tube headers and cam on a 2006 Z06
and the increased power was great all thru the power band.

Hi guys,

Here are the final numbers today after getting into the calibration to work on the finer points. We did some back to back runs in the following graph to demonstrate the power loss from the heat.

That is the next hurdle.

Next on the agenda: More Boost and Cool the intake charge.

Then we will go inside the engine with one of our Forced induction cams.

See you at the races.

Thanks
Lou G

PS, There are those who have said that our new headers "look like others". But here is the way to be sure that they are not. LG'S have -- 1.) Better collector than any on the market. 2.) Typical LG Location of the X pipe 3.) better workman ship 4.) More power with LG's and we will back that up with a dyno shootout any time. Bring it! LG

Lou,

Give me a PM on a package like this with LG headers, CAI, pulley and tune. I would be interested in something like this. I sent you an email with further details prior to seeing this post. The email has more detailed info on my car in it.

Thanks,

Scott
