Could be the 2011. The person I was talking to was trying to sell me a ZR1 for $200,000 and I couldnt believe the price. She said the price was so high because there may not be 2010 ZR1s available. I figured she had no clue.

She has no clue, and she's basically trying to bend you over and rape the hell out of you.

We're building 2010 LS9's and shipping them to Kentucky. Gotta believe they're building ZR1's or they wouldn't be ordering them.

There are a few dealers that think they can charge over MSRP because that is what the "market allows". I do know of a few owners that purchased way above market because they didn't check around....

You can find 2009's for under MSRP and 2010 @ MSRP (maybe under soon).

Default Bend over

Sure, there is a possibility that there wont be a 2011 ZR1. There are however, many 2009 and 2010 ZR1s available right now for around the MSRP range. Who ever is trying to sell you the car, I would run like hell the opposite direction!!

That's crazy. I paid MSRP minus the GM Card $1000.00 in January. They should be a lot less than MSRP now......

As others have said -- I located and purchased a new '10 for $3300 under MSRP a week ago. You can safely ignore the salesperson (and in fact the dealership ).

Was she wearing a strap-on under her dress? She had a clue and it was to convince you to overpay for her car by $100,000. Plenty of brand new 2010 ZR1's sitting unsold in dealers showrooms at MSRP or a couple of thousand under.

At the Laguna Seca ALMS last week, the Chevy rep in their display booth said that the total ZR1 production would stop at 2,200 cars. The problem is this guy said that that was the plan all along. If this is true I would think that the mark-ups would be much higher than they are. My dealer has an add of $15,000 over sticker on their two 2010s.
