New ZR1 Record Pass 10.74
Took the ZR1 to MIR 12/16/09 and had a great day running the car...Hope my record stands for a while but I do believe the car has a little more in it...Air was very good as well as track prep! Was having trouble getting it to not spin hard on the 1-2 shift I made 26 passes and 18 of them were 10.95 or better. I tried some higher launch points on a few that didn't net good passes. It is a very hard car to drive consistant but I am getting there with it!
60'...................1.735
330'.................4.673
1/8..................7.032
mph...............104.62
1000'...............9.030
1/4................10.740
mph...............133.21
On one of my 10.79 passes I did hit 133.91 I would lilke to cross the 134 mph mark next time!
Here is the link to the vid, since it won't let me post an embedded youtube link for some reason.

Well I guess you answered my question! Good job!
And I agree with you, there is more in it and I think you will be in the 10.6's after a few more passes.

And I truely believe there is more in it! I cant wait till spring to get some DR's on it too and see the full potential of the car.
For all those people trying to compare Z06's to ZR1's the best stock tire pass yesterday by ranger in his Z06 was his personal best too... and it was 11.10@128 so a good comparison it that a ZR1 is over 4 tenths and 5 mph faster stock for stock!

Yes he did but I was just showing a same day same track with 2 good drivers comparison. Jamie is a great driver as well and I cant wait to see what we can both do with the ZR1 on DR's.

Kyle,
Just wanted to post up an official "Congrats" on some
extremely fine driving! I would also like to comment on
how civil the car is on real roads. The 130+ mile trip from
Harrisonburg to MIR is chock full of back and mountain
roads. The low fatigue level of this car is simply amazing
given its performance capabilities. The price of entry is
substantial, but the ZR1 really raises the bar in a significant
way. Have fun with her buddy!

Correct! Apples to apples instead of apples to oranges, (same track, same day, same drivers, maybe even a better driver in the Z06??) although some Z06 purists will still disagree and use the fastest time ever in a Z06 to compare to yours even though it is wrong.
