Default LS9 Blower On LSX?...

Alright we all know GM didnt throw the Eaton R2300 blower on the Z06's LS7 engine because it wouldnt be very pretty for that motor...

But what if we used a LSX 454 Iron Cast Block... Capable of being able to take the Eaton R2300 beating right? Correct me if I am wrong.

I just woke up this morning having a crazy idea of a beast Eaton R2300 on a Iron Cast LSX 454 then thrown into a corvette ! But I was just wondering where it is possible to find that blower, I've looked all over online and i dont think they are selling it unless GM ONLY sells it... Let me know if you find any info on that 2.3L blower

Why waste your time with an air restrictor on a motor like that? Put a few good turbos on it and make 1500hp and be done with it.

yea but i wouldnt want that much power... i wouldnt get traction well and some people like me dont know how to drive with all that power and torque but i would love to do that if i could drive with that much power better

Check out the new line from edelbrock, they have a 2.8L that fits the bill Same technology as the ZR1, but with longer runners and more displacement.

Big turbo power is more manageable than big supercharger power. Just turn the boost down for daily driving

I just looked at that and its sick! cant beleive a supercharger other than the Procharger that fits under the hood! and no whine! just sucks its for the LS3 engine only

Turn down the boost in 10 seconds.

The only thing a super charger can do that a turbo cant is rob you of 100hp from the parasitic loss.

Edelbrock is making a supercharger that fits under the stock hood, that uses the same Eaton guts as the LS9, only problem is that it is only avalible for the LS3 in the Corvette and 2010 Camero.

I'm sure a version for the LS7 will come out soon

A cast LSX block and supercharger are going to add substancial weight to the front of the car. This will really throw the balance of the car off.

Twins would sit a little farther back evening it out a bit. But some dont care about turning so whatever suits your needs.
