Default Black or White ZR1?

I am almost ready to order a car and am down to choosing the color. Black or White??
this is going to be my summer daily driver. In Minnesota we have to put a license plate on the front as well. Does that look worse with either color??
If there is anyone who has owned both colors and has any insight please advise?

gotta just make up my mind.

thanks
Pete

I have a diamond white Escalade and a black ice Escalade, black is the best color when clean and waxed, but it's dirty and dusty the first ride you take, white is very easy to keep clean, but never has that pop that black has. That is why my ZR1 will be white, because I plan to drive it and it is just way easier for a daily driver. JMO

Try to get a look at both colors on an actual ZR 1. I did and I bought white. They are both beautiful. Black is tough to keep clean and white is pretty easy which is a nice perk. Also, I think there are fewer white Z's around vs. other colors which is also nice. I get a lot of people checking out my car and saying they have never seen a white one. This can be a drag but you are going to get looks no matter what color you buy.

Black is harder to keep clean, but damn tough looking! I'm going to order black. White is just too plain looking for me...

Have had white and black cars. When i got a white car it was for all the reasons described above, easier to keep clean, etc etc. But after i had the white car i felt disappointed. they just don't pop like a black car when clean and shined. An alternative to white would be silver. I have been very satisfied with silver, it pops and looks good in the sun.

I decided to get a black vette.

Default White or black zr1

When I was getting ready to order 2010 ZR1 I never considered White, but I Gambled and ordered One...I never looked Back and besides the fact that I got the first White helped and it looks Great...now for 2011-- my ZR1 will hopefully be either White or the New Blue.....
There is NO SUCH THING AS A LOUSY COLOR WHEN IT COMES TO CORVETTES....

Pete, You can't go wrong! Mines black. Personally think black looks bad! But the white looks very good! White is (much) easier to keep looking good though. You'll enjoy either! Thanks, JW

Split the difference and get a silver one. All the carbon fiber looks really nice on the silver car. But if you are stuck on white or black, then white would be my choice as well because there are a ton of black C6 cars out there. The ZR1 is a very special car and should stand out at 1000 yards, not blend in with the masses. White with the black and red interior is beautiful. Only wish I was in the position to make this choice...

I thought when white was coming for 2010 that it would look great but after seeing a few pics it looks very busy. too much separation of color and no flow. almost trying too hard to be noticed. Black looks good when clean, but who the hell is gonna wash their car everyday. with that being said, get a red one.

you dont see so many white ZR1's but yet again you dont get to see so many ZR1's ..

but I would go for white because of two things, its not a pain to keep it cleaned and it blends in basically with any type of mod you do to the looks in the future..

but thats just my opinion..

Free chassis dyno for a White ZR1 at our shop in Buffalo, MN.

I'm a sucker for a white vette. I own a black NON ZR1 and hate washing it, dealing with the marks in it and etc. Plus they are hot during AUG.

Everyone,
thank you for your opinions. You helped me decide. I have had many a black cars before and enjoyed them but this ZR1 is going to be white. I just ordered from Wes at Reliable. He was great to deal with. I should have it by the end of April.

thanks for your help

Pete
