ZR1 Convertible
Just thought I'd share these pictures with you guys, I drooled over these two cars most of the time I was at the show. This was a father and son team who each built one to go along with the ZO6 convertibles they built 2 years ago. These things are BAD!!!

Wow, that looks great! I'm not a big convertable fan, mostly because I don't like how the cars look when the top is up, but that looks great and I know A LOT of people that would love that!

Not sure what year it is I believe they told me it took them each about a year to get all the parts in and completed. I'm not sure what you mean by tombstone but there is a pair of sunglasses sitting on his center console if that's what you're mentioning?

I do agree however that the engine looks identical to the ZR1s so im wondering, if they did it the other way around as in start with base convertables and work their way to a convertable ZR1 which includes installing an LS9?

those are NOT zr1s, you can see that from the seat color combo, the center console on the blue car, and the obvious Z06 brakes on both cars.

If you look directly behind the cup holder on the blue one you see a piece shaped like a Tombstone. That style center console came on 05-07 models. It was painted silver also.
