he's just a lousy driver. 
i recall an episode on top gear where the zr1 is among the top fastest cars EVER on their test track, when driven by "the stig."
the best part it's in some cases 1/10th of the cost of some of the faster cars. gotta love that.

They endlessly poke fun at themselves for not being a factual consumer advice program as they're producers (supposedly) want them to be.
Anyway, great vid, and Top Gear is a great show if you can get over the fact that they're going to rag on any American car (and America) all in good fun.

yes, agreed on all fronts. 
It's not that he's a lousy driver (well, he might be, I often question if all those perfect power slides are actually Jezza) it's that it's a TV show... it's about ENTERTAINMENT.
They endlessly poke fun at themselves for not being a factual consumer advice program as they're producers (supposedly) want them to be.
