What music!
Great video thanks. This reminds me of two things:
1/ It is incomprehensible to me why people put ultra loud exhausts on C6s. Why drown out the sublime music of engine induction with noise from the exhaust? I just will never get it. You can put a loud exhaust on anything that burns gasoline and it will be loud.
2/ This is a great video for younger owners ( of any model manual C6 ) who learned to drive on an automatic and may have no experience with manual transmissions. You don't need the silly HUD to shift right. You don't need some kind of math table in your mind about when to shift. You don't need some kind of electronic nanny telling you when to shift.
What you need to do is get tuned into the machine. You do this from the sound, vibration, and your knowledge of speed in which gear etc. This is why you do not need a loud exhaust and 10,000 watt stereo. With all that background noise and unable to hear the induction music it's no wonder "rpm matching" is necessary.
This car sounds like pure magic. The only thing I've ever driven that sounded as good ( but was not nearly as fast ) was my original 4 speed 396 Camaro coupe. The sound waves from that old Quadrajet sounded like a Saturn V lifting off.
( Requires reader to know what a Quadrajet and Saturn V were-if younger you may need to look it up. )

Did we watch the same video? That seemed pretty boring. I know the speed was there, but on the video it just looked like a Sunday drive.

Until I figure out how to infiltrate MPG I will have to settle for stalking the outside until security issues the boot

I've been to the Milford Proving Grounds a couple of times and have been on several of their tracks. Unfortunately, it wasn't in a Corvette. The last time I was there they had just set the Z06 top speed record on the 7 mile oval.
Crazy thing, even within the Proving Grounds you still can't see the Lutz Ring. It has been designed to really be hidden from any camera men. At one very specific point you can barely see part of one turn.
There is a big lake on the Grounds and employees are free to fish on the weekend. If I was let free, I doubt I would be fishing.
