I'm going through looking at all the modded/stock ZR1 performance results and some really impressive cars out there from some good vendors. I'm curious who will claim 2012 as their year? Most imrpessive ET's per mod? Most HP per mod? Best ET results for the least invested? Driver mods? Hot shoes? I want to see what the modded crew is going to offer to make ZR1's that much better in 2012!!!!!!! I mean if bolt on C6Z's are running 9.9's to 10.3's. There should be a nice bolt on category with supporting modifications for the ZR1 to really show its wings right???

Katech? Typically more of the road course car modifier but making HP either way.

Fran from RPM do you guys offer some ZR1 upgrades???

And LG has some pretty potent ZR1's too! They are more focused on road racing.

How about a tuner ZR1 shoot-out! Each tuner bring a car, they can bring their hot-shoe drivers to get the best out of the car, but also let a couple forum drivers make passes in each one for a real world comparison!

I wont be getting any faster unless someone loans me a faster car, or chevrolet ups the ante sometime soon. My days of modding cars are long gone and i dont think the 10.33 pass will get any better! But i plan on having alot of fun trying to beat it, i really enjoy making passes in this car!

I think vy zr1 has a great idea! Lets see a tuner challenge!
Id be glad to set up the rental!???

Lethal performance! Do they have a write up on modding the car with their goals? Finding 1/4 mile performance from the ZR1 in this section is wildly praised but rarely put up IMO.

Then there is the deeper side of what mods enhance drag racing (top numbers) versus road racing, (under the curve numbers) including cooling and street practicality, along with what are both of their necessary supporting mods including the all important cost factor.

The goal is to have the fastest ZR1 with the stock blower So we allready have bone stock numbers,1/4 times. We will do drag strip and the texas mile this year with the car. Let me get ahold of D and find out if it is cool for me to post his mods since I dont know everything right now. Been gone for the holidays.

narush.... do you have any mods done to yours now???? If so what and how's she running??? I havent seen you at one of our track rentals or at capitol or cecil. Would be interested to have a pair of ZR1's roll into the track together this year.

Wow it must be night time in nigeria!!! Look at all these people starving for some HP from their 3year old ZR1's and newer from the forum vendors. Oh hell yeah my man, I bought the Lingenfelter 710HP kit but it is not installed yet because my damn foot is broken and I am in a cast. Currently I need to get the Check Engine Light turned off. I have LT Kooks 1 7/8 Headers and B&B loud exhaust with X-Pipe. We can chat anytime my man I live 15 minutes from Capitol Raceway.

Kyle, have you thought about trying the cup tires? You would still be stock and to see if you might get a tenth or two out of it?
