OEM ZR1 wheel weight 2009-current standard
Hey guys,
Pulling a set of tires off a ZR1 here at the shop today, and thought you guys would like to know OEM wheel weights of the standard wheels.
This would apply to any 2009 through current ZR1 and Z07 cars.
Front 19x10 26.8 lbs
Rear 20x12 28.7 lbs
That is weight without center cap, and without TPMS.

Thanks for the info.
I assume these are painted (comp grey, not chrome).
I would've guessed the rear ones were heavier than that.

FYI,
The GA3R's and Cup tires I did on Mike's ZR1 took off almost 40 lbs of weight total off the car. With the slicks and GA3R wheels on Lou's car we took off 57 lbs.
So light they are not...
I'm curious as well to know what the cup wheels are going to be different. I know the cup tires of course are lighter, almost 13 lbs for the entire set over the standard Pilot Sport II ZP.

Great information glad to have a vendor here giving this type of information. Too bad so many other vendors are so worried about taking peoples money rather than helping making their vehicles better and making the owners smarter. Kudo's to you!!!!

I'm curious as well. One thing I have noticed is that they say they are 5 lbs lighter but I haven't seen anywhere that they said each wheel. I'm betting 5 lbs total for the set of four. So with the cup tires it would take off 18 lbs total for the set of wheels and tires.

If I wasn't such a cheap bastard, Anthony, I'd get the GA3R wheels and some R6's for track days. Plus, I'm lazy and don't want to swap back and forth. That said, I don't think these sport cup tires are going to last too long. I have 2 track days on them now and the wear is very noticeable. I've been told 4-5 track days tops is what I can expect. For $2200+ of tires, that's roughly $500/day just in tire wear for each track day.

And not just unsprung--rotating, outboard, and unsprung. Best place to save weight. And why we have carbon brakes.

I have run my cup tires at the texas mile and then about 2000 street miles and they are getting pretty worn. But I would buy them again in a heart beat until they make a 20 inch A6

It's still a ForgeLine wheel....built for the 24hrs of Daytona, I wouldn't have any worry putting it on any car, street or track.
