Default ZR1 prices

With the new C7 out and all the hype, where do you see ZR1 prices settling in?

I'd like to buy in a year or two and would love it if they got down to about $50k for a 40-50k mile car.

Thanks. I'm already seeing low mile 09s in the mid 60s, but I don't need one with such low miles...

Hopefully 50 is doable in a couple more years.

I'm thinking it would have to be used and abused for that level of pricing but one never knows...

Your idea of low miles must be different from what's considered low miles in a corvette because I have yet to see a 09 ZR1 with low miles for mid 60s. Maybe if you want a yellow ZR1 with the 1ZR package and it has like 30-40k miles you can get it for mid 60s

What do u consider low miles? And are you ok with 2-4owners? Because that's what usually is the case when I see them high 60s or bottom 70s

I don't care if it had 8 owners, doesn't bother me as long as the car is in good shape. Lots of people buy these cars and then realize it's too much car for them and it moves on to the next guy.

I consider low miles under 20k. Hell, there are 2010s with <20k miles at bottom 70s right now...

Is that what I said? No, not even close, so try again. Why are you people so defensive?

Yeah maybe. I guess we'll have to wait and see. If there aren't any out there, Z06 it is. There's just something about that ZR1 though...

Chill out Zerski!!! They're just defending their prized possession.

You're not entirely off base.... I have seen a couple of pretty good deals on higher mileage cars and even some low mileage cars and if in fact the C7 comes out with something in the ball park, or even better, our ZR's will take a hit. 2 more years of depreciation will get them a bit as well. Until then, it's still the baddest corvette on the planet !!!!

Without a shadow of a doubt the ZR1 is the best bang for the buck car on the market. I got rid of mine to pick up the Pratt & Miller C6RS which is also a handful.

In summary, I've had a 2009 Z06 and 2010 ZR1 and the ZR1 is in a category of its own. The Z06 is awesome but there's nothing like stepping down on that ZR1 throttle and launching. The C6RS is naturally aspirated 600hp so its response is a bit quicker but when the ZR1 supercharger kicks in its hard to beat in a straight line. The track would be a different story as the C6RS is better equipped for that.

I hope you find a used ZR1 that you can enjoy because it's definitely worth it.

I'd advise against buying a ZR1 with a lot of owners because resale on it will not bring back anywhere near the same amount of money and take longer to sell. I'm still in the market for a ZR1. Just trying to give u tips on buying a good one not someones beater
