I actually dreamed I got a white ZR1 the other night (ha). It's either a premonition or a "in your dreams" thought . . .

Not only that 205 is ZR1 max speed on a long straight. Indy cars pull up to 3 G's in the corners, the ZR1 might pull a little over 1 G. INDY turns are 1/4mile long with 9 deg. banking. At 225 MPH thats approximately 2.2 G's. Limit on the ZR1 would likely be about 160 MPH in the turns. Maybe a lap average of 180 MPH.
Guess he's gonna punt them as they go by about 50 mphs faster than he's going, good trick if you can.

The only problem I have with the cup rims is that everyone who walks up and notices the rotors, wants to reach in and touch the rotors for some reason

I really like the cup wheels a lot though.

I never use the rotor protector when pulling the wheels. Once the wheels are off I put them on. It is fairly easy to pull them out with the wheels on.
I pay a little extra attention when I pull the wheels, straight out, and it never made contact with the rotors. I could put the wheels back without the extra protection, but I take the easy way out.

Much easier to keep clean! The stock ZR1 wheels are the worst I've had to keep clean because of all the spokes so close together.
Best prices I've seen here:

The LS9 in the ZR1 Pace Car was put together by Mike Priest at Wixom PBC. Was not a special build - put together just like one of yours!
Way to go Mike!!
