Question for the 1/4 mile Gurus:
So, as someone who has never been down the dragstrip, I gotta ask about the burnout by the white ZR1. Does he have a line lock that allows him to lock the front wheels, or is he on the brake pedal while spinning up the back wheels, just enough to hold the car in place? If the latter, it's hard to imagine the axles lasting too long (not to mention other driveline components).
I ask because the video states the car is stock. If it is, can someone please tell me where my line lock switch is?

Just using the brake to hold the car in place. Once you get them spinning it takes little brake pressure to hold the car in place. I don't see it putting a great amount of load on the driveline. I think it is less load than when the car is hooked up and accelerating forward.
