Default I've now had every major Exhaust setup-pics/videos

So now I've officially had all the major muffler manufacturers muffler on my ZR1; akrapovic, corsa, stock twice, and now B&B fusion Extreme. Randy Leger at Ragin Racin sold me these and has the best price on these shipped. This past weekend Teresa and I had the pleasure of meeting Todd (forum member) and his wife Linda at their home in North Tustin to do a muffler install. Todd has a beautiful house with two well kept Vettes and a very sturdy 2 post car lift. He even helped out with the install. Thank you VERY MUCH TODD. If any of you need a exhaust clip of any of the listed muffler manufacturers let me know and i'll post it.

I can't help but ask...do you have an exhaust fetish? How else could you explain this behavior?

Do you have aftermarket headers on your car?

Well the Akrapovics were great until I put headers on. Then they droned all the time with the baffles open or closed. Then I bought the Corsa's and sold the Akrapovics and with the Corsa's not having a bi-mode option the were loud all the time and since this is my daily driver, I went back to the stock mufflers for the bi mode option and I really liked the sound of the stock cans but I broke 2 sets in 4 months. The first set I broke the baffle on the right side muffler and the dealership warranted it and just recently the left muffler broke and this time the dealership wouldn't warranteed it so I bought these b&b extreme fusions. The extreme fusions are built for 700+ corvettes so the internals are bigger and they are extremely quit when closed and extremely loud when open. I like them so far and have no plans to buy anymore exhaust. But who am I kidding, what's next!

I can relate...went through as many as you did myself and ended up sticking with Akras. Those BBs look great though!

Once I saw your "smokin' hot girlfriend", I kinda lost interest in the exhaust saga!

It does sound good, though!

I'm also curious about this. Same questions as above but also for when they are closed. What cam is that?

I hate to sound like the guy who is so happy with his purchase but I am. when closed they extreme fusions are a little louder, a little deeper, and a little more raspy than stock. to be up front i really liked the tone of the stock cans. when open the B&B's rock. they are louder, have a deeper tone, and raspy. the generation 3 extreme are quite with no drone when closed and loud and in your face when open.

it's the RPM stage 3 blower cam. this is also the 3rd aftermarket CAM i've had. I had the LPE GT9 cam, a custom CMS cam, and now the RPM stage 3 blower cam. let me know if you want videos of the difference in lope in cam and tone in exhaust. i have video of every set up i've had.

so they are louder in closed mode? I dont like the Straight pipe kind of noise do they have a nice and deep sound or they sound more like 2 empty fence pipe ? I do like the stock can and my car is stock but a lil more agressive in wild mode wont hurt.

Hey Kris, longtime no speak. Your ZR1 sounds badass! I liked those Corsa's but I've also heard the Fusion's in person. Man you changed cams again, I've seen and drove this badass machine and its hands down the fastest ZR1 in San Diego. See you around buddy

Sorry, you haven't run all "major" mufflers unless you've run Borla. Get back to us when you've run longtubes no cats and the original stingers. JMHO. In all seriousness though, nices vids and car.

That is a loud set up for sure. On my last C5 Z06 I ran LG long tubes no cats and B&B PRT's for 7 years I owned the car and loved every minute of them.
