Looking at trading the GS in on a Stingray but as for my BAMF BEAST NO WAY Until they come up with something that really tops the performance

I struggle with the looks as well and would no way want any less grunt when the loud pedal is pressed. Track performance may meet or exceed the ZR1 with soon-to-come models but the ability to boil the hides and run a 1320' that compares is going to be hard to match IMHO.

The only things I'd really like that are not worth the switch are modern sound, nav, and rear camera. My wife traded her 06 Trailblazer SS for a GLK350. The integrated sound with Bluetooth, nav, higher difinition display, and rear camera with steering prediction and warning sensors are VERY nice.

Many are already aware of this technology but for those that are not, the newer nav systems interface with smartphones where when you Google Map directions then send the destination to the car's nav. You start your car and Hal's sister starts sweet talking about her willingness to take you there! Automatic playing of your previously selected playlists occurs when you turn on the sound system simply by your phone being in close proximity to the console. I'm not sure if the C7 has the same capabilities but I'd be amazed if most of the newer systems did not.

To me, it is not about waiting until they work out the bugs on the C7 or waiting until they make a C7 variant with more hp than the current C6 ZR1. A faster C7 is inevitable. However, and it is not even close in my opinion, the C6 ZR1 is just simply flat out a better looking corvette and the best looking vette since the C2 generation.

Until the C7 goes through some significant styling changes, it cannot compete with the C6 ZR1 in the looks department. Unfortunately, I think we will have to wait for the C8. Simply put, the ZR1 just looks better.

I say this not as a biased ZR1 owner. I do not own a ZR1 but will in the near future. Used prices are almost just where I like them to be. To all you ZR1 owners, I can't wait to join the club: thumbs:

Displacement on demand will be terrible

The C6 will be far better for FI, even the current ZR1 with a pulley and tune will be as fast or faster than the C7 ZR1

And then there is thar rear end...yuck

Keeping the ZR1 probably for the duration. No interest at all in the C7...

No Stingray for me. If a ZR is made, I will definitely add one to my garage.
