Default Oil drain plug question?
Are the oil drain plugs in the LS9, the same as the LS7?

Yes.

A lot of people buy these to have the benefit of having magnets on them...magnetic-drain-plugs

Here's something to consider, I've used them on all my cars for many years. Pictured is the SS300, fits perfectly on my ZR1.

I have always used a magnetic drain plug, but I think I need to consider one of those filtermags..
