Default Road walk issue?

Hey everyone, just a quick question regarding road walk on your ZR1, mine does it a little depending on the type of surface I'm on, it grabs cracks in the road or odd surfaces and bobbles about.

My old Z06 had done that before and it was the Pirelli tires I had doing 99% of it, once I switched to Bridgestone it was totally sure footed.

I'm wondering if it could be alignment or tires or if its just how it should be?

My car is totally stock and just turned 4k miles, I've only owned 1k miles and less than a month, and its the only ZR1 I've ever driven.

TIA

I'll try alignment as soon as it stops raining.
I appreciate the quick responses!

Do a more aggressive alignment and you'll be fine. Part of the problem is the steamroller front tires. I have a race alignment (-3 front and -2.5 rear) for all my track days, but when I drive it around town, it's dead nuts stable at 100+. Like I can take my hands off the steering wheel and eat a hamburger and sip a coke going 120mph down the road. Not that I'd do that, but you get the idea.

On mine, I'm using the Pfadt Performance Street alignment on stock Michelin PS2 ZPs, since about 4K mi's.
Almost 9K mi's now (1.5 yrs later). Very pleased with this alignment so far.

I'll look into the Pfadt Performance Street settings and compare them to factory, I'd like to try for max tire life without compromising any handling.

I just wanted to update this post, today we aligned the car to the Pfadt Performance Street settings and all is good, just an fyi for those that don't know the Pfadt Performance Street are very close to stock ZR1 settings with minor tweaks for increased tire life, mostly to camber from the looks of it.

The car drives fantastic now, the issue was toe, it was all kinds of whacky on the rear, and with the steam rollers I could see how it would drive odd.

I would recommend these settings to anyone with a ZR1 or Z06.
