Some more miles on the ZR1!
After some more wheel time!
I'm getting more used to the car. I can compare the 2008 Z06!
I bought the car with replacing the supercharged 2008 ZO6 in mind.
After taking it down my test strip it is a bit slower. The blown Z
easily makes 10 mph or more in the same stretch of road. Plus pulls harder.
Which was expected since the Z turns better dyno numbers than a stock ZR1. Otherwise
the ZR1 seems superior. The brakes and the mag ride esp!
The big thing that I'm glad I waited to enjoy a ZR1 at a discount.
Because it is like I thought when I bought my 2008 Z 2lz for 45k.
After three almost 4 years of driving I'm looking to get 37-39k!
Blower kit is already sold!
I'm glad I did not buy a new ZR1 for 120k plus or even a 100k. But It feels great for the 69,500 I paid for a like new car!
Getting ready to pull the blower kit from the ZO6. Which is not easy
but I'm looking forward to the C7 that will replace it and then have a 2 Corvette family.

Glad to hear your finally settling in on the ZR1 and putting focus on enjoying the ride!
I too am super happy to have bought when I did, the deal and obviously the car made the wait bearable, although had I known then what I know now, I would have spent the extra money and had one sooner. Yeah, I can't lie!

Sounds like you're having fun with the ZR. They are great machines.
I've enjoyed mine since picking it up brand new (which come February will be 4 years ago - lots of smiles and memories already with that thing, and I plan on a whole bunch more as I'm not letting go of it).
