This is great, thanks for posting. Seems my Carlisle Blue comes in second for rarest. Was the LeMans Blue a special customer order? Like Rick Hendrick or the like?

The only LeMans Blue Metallic was the first production ZR1. It had a code BD1 (Blue Devil One). It was won at auction by Dave Ressler. The Vin is 1G1YR26R495900001. Do a Google search on Ressler.

Surprised how the production of Cyber Grey ramped down through the years.
Such a great color. If I could have found it I would have gotten that although I am loving my Torch Red with all the black accents including the Cup wheels.

Sorry, but Blue Devil was a one-of-a-kind, LeMans Blue Metallic with the VIN# 00001. Apparently the NCM is incorrect in their display. They call their ZR1 "Blue Devil" but it is not THE Blue Devil.
From Hemmings Daily: "The Blue Devil, meanwhile (experimental VIN 1G1YY26EX850022EX), was originally built as a 2008 Z06, then converted a year later into a pre-production ZR1 that was used for Chevrolet’s press photos and served as a sister car to 23EX, which famously lapped the Nürburgring in a record 7 minutes, 26.4 seconds. Quote from a GM spokesman"

After the sinkhole incident at NCM, GM restored the Blue Devil and then displayed it at the 2014 SEMA show. Here's a picture of the car and the description of it, as presented by GM. The car is obviously JSB. I think we're talking about two different cars here. GM has possession of the original Blue Devil ZR1. It was on loan to the NCM when it fell into the sinkhole.

You originally posted that you thought the Blue Devil was Jet Stream Blue, implying that it was not LeMans Blue Metallic. You seemed to be confused by the name "Blue Devil". The first production ZR1 was VIN# 00001. It was sold at the Barrett-Jackson to Dave Ressler. Its color paint code was BD1 (Blue Devil 1). Perhaps that color code name was the problem. However, it was the only LeMans Blue Metallic produced for the ZR1.
The museum car was not a production car. It was experimental, hence the VIN# 50022EX. It still belongs to GM and was restored to new by GM. It too is called "Blue Devil".
Quite frankly, if I had a blue ZR1 I would be tempted to call it Blue Devil, except I live here in North Carolina and not fond of Duke University, the Blue Devils.

The blue devil is in the corvette museum and is Jet Stream Blue. It is the experimental car as described above.
There were actually 3 'first' ZR1's.
Lemans Blue 3ZR from the auction Vin# ending in 5900001. Paint code was BD1 (but that doesn't make it a blue devil). Won by Ressler now owned by Ayden Maxwell.
Cyber Gray 3ZR Vin# ending in 5800001. Owned by Jay Leno.
There is a third Cyber Gray 1ZR Vin# ending in 5700001. Do not know where it is.
