2012 ZR1 - 3ZR Package?
I'm learning more and more about ZR1s as I go through my search for a one to buy for myself, but I have a question that is probably a silly/stupid one -- but how can I tell if a 2012 ZR1 has the 3ZR package (what's the tell tale visual signs)? Or did 2012s still even still have different package offerings?

Bluetooth and navigation are standard on the 3ZR, and optional 1ZR.
However the Universal Home Remote, telescoping wheel, and the Bose system are only available on the 3ZR. If it has any of these it is a 3ZR.

So, i have a chance to buy a 2012 1zr CGM (16000 miles) for about $3500 less than a 2009 3zr JSB (12000 miles). These are my 2 favorite colors on the zr1. Which would you buy?

2012 1zr, 3 years newer, for less... you can always add some of the options later... I used to have a 3lz z06 and went for a 1zr, i have yet to miss any options... perhaps the leather wraped dash... which i could add... any aftermarket sound system would blow any stocker... heated seats i think the harness is there in the 1zr so you probably can add it.

The 3ZR is a much nicer car inside - it depends on how much value you place on interior comfort. I've had 1ZR, 2ZR and 3ZR cars. I like the 3ZR the best, but it certainly doesn't bother me to drive a 1ZR.
I guess what I'm saying is, it's personal preference.

If all things are relatively equal, I'd take the 2012. My opinion is mainly due resale potential, the navigation system being outdated, and the Bose sound system in my Suburban greatly exceeding the Bose system in my ZR1.
