Default Suspensions mods for the track ?

What are people doing when they go to the track, front sway bars removal or uncapping . I'm a older racer and I've been to the track a few times with my z but not since I added 400 hp. And added Nitto DR Any suggestions would be appreciated

15" wheels/LG spindles with a good tire. Heavy rate rear sways, drag coilovers, spherical/solid bushings.

I can't make big $ changes before the races, I was thinking removing exhaust and taking off front sway bar and full tank of race gas .ive spent 20g on the motor this year so I'm taped out

I wouldn't full the tank with race gas unless it is tuned for it. Maybe 3-4 gallons of 100 to bump the octane up, but if you dump race gas in without tuning it may just slow the car down, or best case have no positive effect.

No body's uncapping or taking the exhaust all the way off or any suspension tweaking

Unleaded is what you want for a car with O2s... Pump gas in unleaded. They make race gas in unleaded form.

Lead is what kills 02s.

Cheap mod is the alignment - Adjust for some positive camber on the rear tires so when you launch the car squats to a full contact tread patch as opposed to going even more negative cambered.

My car has no front sway bar... Most people I see remove the Catback exhaust and passenger seat... I have a Vararam CAI and I pull the filter when I'm at the track...

why pull the sway bar on a Z? weight? its effect on squat should be minimal and these cars have a torque tube.
