Drew thanks for the heads up on this. Ace, I am terribly sorry the issues you are having here and my delay in response. I have been away from the forum and our office for at least a week. I asked my guys to handle this for me but I see if you want a job done right... I can't apologies enough.

OK, so our stg 1 fuel system does not come with a regulator since it utilizes the stock regulator normally. Where the problem lies is the fuel system on the ZR1 in this case. Our stg 2 kit comes with the factory regulator block off and a boost referenced regulator with a return line. Stg 3 uses an Aeromotive pump, and stg 4 is usually custom for the build.

I will personally sit down Monday and put everything together in an email for you with tuning instructions etc.

Also if I need to send you additional parts after reviewing what is needed, I will send them at my expense due to how this was poorly handled on our part.

If you could, please send me a PM with your email.

Thank you for your patients!

We have to bypass our pump control module and add a regulator and return line and have a fixed pressure in the system

I installed the stage 1 kit on my car with the Bosch pump. It worked great. 1 guy has an issue installing it and everyone's bashing ECS. Typical forum behavior

didn't have an issue, wasn't sold the correct stuff or supplied with the correct information when purchased. Doug has sense remedied the situation. The stage one kit alone isn't all you need. You need a return and regulator and need to bypass the control module for the oem fuel pump.

Yeah Ok. All I had was the basic Stage 1 kit. No return, no regulator and didn't bybass anything. Carry on.

Fuel pressure spikes when the pump hits and causes the stock pump to reduce pressure and throw codes/stumble, maybe since your running the smaller pump it's working alright?

You both used a different pump.

used the pump Chris at ecs suggested. Originally was going to use the 044 but he said the a1000 was the better pump for what we were doing.

Maybe the 044 doesn't make as big of instant pressure spike as A1000...

Are they both ok with E85?
