Default Has anyone got the ecs fuel system working?

Has anyone got the ecs fuel system working on thier car? Currently installed but doesn't work do to the pulse based system on the car. Aparently there is a way to bypass that and set the bump to a fixed pressure and then run the ecs on the standard hobs switch but I can't get ahold of Doug at ecs to get how to do this

I've heard frc has this working on his car but was curious if anyone else has? I don't really want to have to pull this out and do something else.

Is the stock pump cutting when the ecs pump comes on?

You need to dial back the regulator is what it seems like. The rail pressure sensor is reading way to high and cutting the voltage to your stock pump.

We tried everything except rewiring and bypassing the pump control module. As soon as the inline pump kicks on it spikes pressure. No way around it. Doug is to busy to share the fix I guess is what he told drew today so dead in the water it looks like. Probably just going to toss it in the trash and do a fore.

Someone's head isn't in the game. The whole point of a regulator is to regulate pressure. If it's spiking rail pressure then it's not being adjusted properly or broken. Also what psi is the hobbs switch set at?

Still not sure what regulator your refering too is there one on the stock rail? Reguardless it would regulate pressure to the whole system not just the inline pump in which case the oem pump is still going to drop pressure because the inline is sending so much. You would have to run a regulator and a return on the system for the ecs set up for that to work properly. And at that point I would rather just run a fore system

I think Peter is under the impression your setup came with a regulator and a return which is what I also thought. If it doesn't have a return with a regulator, then there's your problem.

It did not. Originally was told by them it would function with out it. I'm aware it would with adding a regulator and a return. But at that point I would have just preffered doing s fore instead of messing with this thing.

they told me this is the only pump to run if the Car was on e85 I wanted the Bosch 044 but went with what they were saying. Spikes to 100 psi then settles at 70 after the stock pump freaks out.
