Default Update on ruined blower port job Synergy Motorsports

If you are not familiar with my nightmare port job, here is my original post.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...cceptable.html

Update. Synergy Motorsports in Livermore California refused to refund my money and help with the cost of repairs. I have filed a lawsuit against them. Ill keep everyone posted. In their eyes they did nothing wrong. They said they wanted to fix the blower themselves. I wanted an authorized Eaton dealer to do the repairs. I guess now a judge will have to decide. I hope he/she is somewhat familiar with cars. I will post more pics later.

Default Port Job

If they can fix it, then why did they put epoxy on it? It's one thing to screw up a part, but to do a **** poor repair job and not tell you is total BS. I hope you clean house with these pieces of s--t. Good luck.

Tough call... The shop offered to fix and you declined. . I'll say you have a 50/50 shot at winning - which is basically, breaking even for you.
Did you sign anything, quote or work order? i'm wondering if they have any protective language in there for the shop.

gl hope it works out for you.

I picked up my car and dropped it back off 3 times because it was not running right. Left with the car the last time and still was not running correctly(back firing and sputtering out in completion modes). Then I find the covered up damage on top of that. How many chances are you suppose to give a shop???? Not to mention my car was there for 10 weeks for a 2 week job.
After the trial i will post all details. Win or lose I want everyone to see what I am going through

Yup, that's reasonable.. .
Be sure to add in estimates for 'loss of use'. When i sued (and won) that was where the majority of my judgement came from.
Try to summarize in laymen terms for the judge to understand.,

Last, make sure your total complaint is within the limits i.e. the small claims limit is $7,500 in CA.

Again, good luck.

Document, document and document some more. The judge will know absolutely NOTHING! Bring someone with automotive credentials with you to swear on his experience that this was done wrong and YOU did everything to give them a fair chance to make it right. A good reason to stop going back to these guys is to have the expert claim that continued screwing around would cause expensive engine damage. Good luck with this. I'm going to guess when these guys get their paperwork to show up in court that they settle up.

I hope you take him to the cleaners, shops like this are complete joke, all the money you spend on labor, and my 4 yr old could do a better job!

Good luck with the court process. I hope you get what you want out of this. Not trying to hijack this thread, but who does a GOOD job porting these blowers?

Thanks for the post. I will simplify all my evidence as much as possible. It is amazing that it has come to this.

Thanks. Greg does awesome work. He just did my new LPE snout and it looks great. I wish I pulled my blower off and sent it to him instead of trying to go the convenient route and do it local. He goes by GKzr1 on this site.

I went to small claims court with a friend for a witness, judge didn't let anyone talk. Looked at the evidence, then asked maybe two questions, and then decided.

(This was in Oakland)

Good luck!

I'm doing a cam swap on my C5 right now, along with headers and some other stuff. I live halfway between SF and Sac. I was going to use Rick to dyno tune my car. This thread makes me feel like I shouldn't do that. Is he worth my time or should I look elsewhere?
