Zaino Brothers for the good not-too-expensive stuff, and Meguire's Ultimate for the easy to find stuff. Any decent quality wax will work though. I've never seen any wax that could hold even close to a year if you actually drive the car. If it sits in a protected garage and only gets driven 1k miles and sees a couple of washes per year maybe. Also, the easier any wax is to put on and take off, the shorter it generally lasts and will need to be reapplied.
Clear coat sealants extend things a bit, but were just talking about wax now. I never drive in rain, store it over Winter, and drive about 5k per year and would do at least one good clay bar cleaning and wax per year, 2 if you do car shows.

I just found Dual Polymer waterless wash which has an acrylic in it, and I love it. Of course I wash the Vette by hand first, but like on my Jeep, if it's a little dirty it does actually take away the dirt, no joke. Super easy to use, and the shine is amazing.
