Default ZR1 Suspension

I currently have a GS with LG GT2 coilovers on it, how would the factory suspension on the ZR1 compare in terms of handling and ride on the street.

There is no comparison in a Mag Ride Zr1 vs a GS on LG's as far as ride is concerned. I had a Z06 on LG's and probably lost a few years off my kidneys. Never did a track day with them though so that part I cannot comment on that.

I had a 2007 Z06 for nine years and it had LG GT2 coilovers; now I have a 2010 ZR1 and I can tell you that the ZR1 feels stiffer. Maybe because of the "zero pressure" low profile tires and the roads here in Puerto Rico are very rough but, it is what it is.

I found that my GS with the LG's rode like it was on rails, my only complaint was that when you hit a dip in the road your body (and all your organs) would be jolted towards the roof of the car. I don't imagine the ZR1 would be like this although I've never ridden in one.

I forgot to tell you I had my coilovers set at something like 6-7 front and 3-4 rear. Front sway bar Hotckis And rear stock. Tires 275-35-18 and 345-30-19 PS2 at 30psi on CCWs ride was very comfortable for a car like this.
