Default I shift like Brian Spilner

Took the car to Alabama International Raceway today for some passes. Car was on e72 with a little over half a tank in her. Car is also on a break in tune and the driver mod is currently broken. It's impressive that I managed a 9.7@144 with the crappy shifting lol

Nice pass for the first trip out on the new build. How much power did it make? Its showing about 750 ish...

No doubt it will go faster with seat time.

PD blower cars are hard to calculate on how fast they will run because of the torque out the hole.

Congrats again on the ET and mph! With a bit more seat time and dialing in the combo you'll be much faster very soon! It's always a pleasure being part of the build process with you, and can't wait for Stage 2

Wait we are only at stage 1? Well damn can we jump to stage 73 because I'm ready for warp speed captain spock. Trust me the pleasure is all mine. It's always been more than a pleasure dealing with everyone at the shop. The real fun is when you guys bring your own toys out to the track with us and run them. Good times this past Saturday and you better come out to the next outing

For just getting it out for the first shakedown passes, I think how you drove it was... smart. Who wants to bust stuff the first time out when you're getting a feel for a new combo?

Good pass. Great car!

Yeah I hear ya.....You definitely have a lot left in it, just need the seat time and a good track/air.

HP is HP, doesn't matter how you get it, its gonna trap what the HP says if you can get it down the track efficiently.

Keep at it...you'll get there. 840 will go 148-149 or so with a stick in decent air.

Still a damn good pass for the first trip out.

Holy cow that's fast for your not-so-fast shifting! I agree with ajrothm, there's a whole lotta more left in her. Glad everything is coming together this well.

Hooks good!

What 18 inch wheels did you go with ? Do they clear the big boy brakes or did you have to run little steel brakes out back ?

I think you're more seeing great clutch/throttle management to get that launch he did, more so than the quality of the wheel/tire. That's the kind of launch you need, I wonder what the 60' was.

The car has gone 1.51 at the same track on the stock clutch. The car now has the rps so I'm getting used to it and the tires are old so they are only going to take so much. I'll get it into the 1.4x on these tires. Just need some more practice.

I'm itching to get out to road Atlanta badly. I'm just getting used to the car again and then I'll order some new slicks and get out there and let her loose.

I'd Rumpelstiltskin my first born for 60' times like that! This is legit low 9 car you can drive to work. That is if you stop shifting like a 15 year old niece learning to drive stick on her learner's permit

Kidding... this is the guy who helped me look less like a fool on the launch when I was struggling with my stock ZR. I still anytime he posts.
